"Swallow Cottage: Lovely stay, thank you. Recommend Sunday lunch at the Sitwell Arms in Bucknell and for families, Acton Scott Farm for active little boys. Don't miss the ruined castles at Hopton and Clun. Bird on the rock tea rooms, this side of Clungunford is quirky and good."

- Heather, Katie, Marc, Dougie and Fletcher - Nottingham and Loughborough - October 2019

"Swallow Cottage: Well appointed, spotless and beautiful setting. Welcoming and friendly hosts. Weather very mixed but did'nt stop us getting out and exploring the area. Particularly enjoyed Croft Castle , Hereford and Church Stretton."

- Taryn, John and Andrea - Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire - September 2019

"Swallow Cottage: As others have said, lovely cottage in a lovely area. Got out and about despite mixed weather. Visited Hereford, Hay on Wye, Ludlow and others, but the star of the show was Weobley with the old buildings. Recommend the White Horse at Clun and The Wheatsheaf Inn at Ludlow for meals."

- Roy, Linda, Graham and Julie - West Yorkshire - September 2019

"Swallow Cottage: The Buzzard circled overhead during our stay and at Stokesay Castle we were dive bombed by swallows. A lovely unspoilt part of the country where wildlife flourishes. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed."

- Alison and Mike - Berkshire - Parents to Elizabeth and family - August 2019

"Swallow Cottage: Many thanks for a relaxing and peaceful visit to Shropshire. We enjoyed the well appointed and clean cottage and the garden with the railway cottage - some good infants toys! We visited the museum of Lost Content - great fun and beautiful Stokesay Castle in Craven Arms. We enjoyed visiting Shrewsbury by train from Bucknell Station, Aardvark books and Knighton and a very long walk from Baron pub. Baron and The Lion at Leintwardine recommended for nice meals!"

- Elizabeth, Aiden, Liam - Worcester - August 2019

"Groom Cottage: Another good week here - we were pleased to return. A very relaxing holiday. Thank you."
