Guild of Aviation Artists Exhibition

The Guild of Aviation Artists was formed in 1971 and is recognised throughout the world for the promotion of aviation art.   The paintings on display in the Art Gallery have been specially selected to demonstrate the variety and scope of members’ work. They represent 100 years of the Royal Air Force in its centenary year.   The paintings on display are all for sale and the RAF Museum receives a commission from sales.

The Shropshire Way 80k

Walk the Shropshire Way and raise money for the Discovery Centre Starting at 9am, this mass participation fundraising walk for the Discovery Centre must be completed within 24 hours. The route is 80km (50 miles) and will be taking in some of the finest parts of the Shropshire Hills AONB. You will be taken through the very best of Shropshire’s undiscovered landscape and some of its hidden market towns where you will be able to sample some of the wonderful local produce that this area has to offer as you pass through our checkpoints. Starting and finishing here at the Centre, you will be treated to breakfast as you complete. Call 01588 676060 to book, cost £40.
