"Swallow Cottage: This was our first visit to Shropshire and we all had a great holiday. Swallow Cottage is clean, well equipped and so peaceful. We enjoyed hearing the owls at night and seeing a rabbit in the courtyard. My 3 year old loved the puzzles and games that were available in the carriage and kept heading there to get more! Our favourite family days out were to Blists Hill at Ironbridge (the kids loved the sweet shop and summer fair) and the Owl Centre at Kington. Carding Mill Valley was also a big hit with the kids as they paddled and splashed through the streams. We enjoyed Ludlow Castle and Croft Castle too. Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall was impressive but it was a long drive to get there. Oscar: I loved the ice cream at the Ludlow Food Centre. Here are some delicious flavours: Chocolate Hazlenut and Mint were my favourites. The owls were fantastic at the Owl Centre. One was a funny one named Teatowel."

"Swallow Cottage: Our first time at Bryncalled Barns and what a find! Spotlessly clean, everything you could possibily need, a warm welcome, a stunning garden and an Aladdins cave in the carriage. We have had exceptionally hot weather; an afternoon of terrential rain and thunder but have walked miles and miles enjoying fantastic scenery; lanes adorned with May blossom, cow parsley and many spring flowers; buttercup meadows and a red kite flying so low over us. The owls have been a delight to hear and the flock of sheep in the drive a bonus! We have been coming to this part of Shropshire a couple of times a year for over a decade and it never disappoints. We have had a super holiday and will be back. We leave our best wishes for a happy holiday to the next visitors to Swallow Cottage"

"Stable End: A lovely place to spend a week if only we had two weeks! To eat the Baron at Bucknell is great and very friendly also The Lion at Leinwardine. If you love to walk the Stiperstones Ridge is well worth it. We always love Shrewsbury for a day out"

"Swallow Cottage: We've enjoyed a very relaxing few days in your beautiful cottage. It is spacious, spotless, well equipped and is a wonderful barn conversion. Well done! We visited Croft Castle, Shobdon church, presteigne, knighton, Elan Valley and saw a spectactular display of the red kites feeding (3pm) at Gigrin Farm near Rhayader. One evening we were fortunate to see an owl on the roof next door. It's such a beautiful unspoilt area and we feel very refreshed after our break. The old railway carriage in the garden is a wonderful idea, stocked with books and maps."

"Stable End: We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and particularly appreciate the quietness and peace. Spring is a beautiful time to visit Shropshire and the daffodils and hedgerows have been beautiful. We have been lucky to enjoy some warm days sitting outside this welcoming and comfortable cottage. Thank you. "

"Stable End: What can I say? I have stayed here many times with my husband Don and my family, always magical. Sam and June both excel in hospitality. The weather has come good the last few days. The spring flowers delightful. It is still my favourite place and we love Shropshire. Here's to the next visit. Thank you for everything."
