CONDITIONS OF BOOKING By booking your holiday at Bryncalled Barns Holiday Lets you agree to the following terms and conditions. Contract This contract becomes binding when you receive a booking confirmation from use either by email or post. Payment Initially we would advise you to book your holiday by telephone, or email us your requirements together with a contact number. Your booking will remain provisional for 7 days until we have received your booking form and initial deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost. If you are unable to download a booking form we will send you one as it constitutes a legal contract of hire between the hirer and the owners. Click here for booking form Balance The balance of your holiday will be due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Please note that we will require full payment of your holiday if booked less than 6 weeks of your arrival. If your balance is not received by the due date, your booking will be regarded as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellation and Insurance There is nothing worse than having to cancel your long awaited holiday therefore we strongly recommend that appropriate holiday insurance is taken out independently. If the booking is cancelled within 4 weeks before the arrival date, the entire rental fee will be forfeited and no refund will be given. For cancellations made between 4 and 6 weeks before the arrival date, 50% rental fee will be refunded. For cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the arrival date, a full refund will be given less your deposit. In the event of a cancellation within six weeks of your holiday we will try our utmost to re-let your booking and refund your payment, less your deposit. If we are unable to secure a replacement booking, you the hirer will be liable for the above charges. Arrival and departure Please telephone a few days before to confirm your expected arrival time. Tel: 01547 530608 The accommodation will be ready for your holiday at any time after 3PM on the date of arrival, where you will be met by the owners who will give you the keys, a brief tour of the cottage and a chance to ask about the local area. On day of departure please vacate the premises by 10AM to enable us to clean for our next guests. Liability We do not accept responsibility for injury or loss/damage to possessions, damage to vehicle and their contents and to the personal possessions you bring with you. Guests must accept total responsibility for the safety of their children inside the property and within all communal areas including the pond and play area. Number of Guests The number of guests staying at either Stable End or Swallow Cottage must not exceed the agreed number stated on the booking form. Smoking Smoking is NOT permitted in either cottage, so we kindly ask you and your party to smoke outside. Pets Sorry due to nearby livestock pets are NOT allowed Damages and Breakages All damages are the responsibility of the Hirer and their cost must be paid in full. Guests are asked to take reasonable care of the property, furniture, fixtures and fittings and leave the property in a clean and tidy condition as upon their arrival. We reserve the right to enter the property at anytime due to problems outside our control, but will try to make contact with you first. Behaviour Whilst we want to ensure your total privacy and to our other guests, upon booking you accept responsibility for the proper conduct for yourself and your party whilst on holiday. If we or any other person in authority is of the reasonable opinion that you or any member of your party is behaving in a way as to cause likely danger, upset to other person or damage to the property, we will be entitled to terminate the holiday of the person(s) concerned and ask them to leave the accommodation. We will have no further responsibility and pay no refunds or additional expenses. You will be made responsible for making full payment for any damages or loss caused by you or any member of your party
