Swallow Cottage
"We had a lovely few days over New Year at Swallow Cottage. The cottage is warm, welcoming and comfortable - just what’s needed for a short break. The countryside around is beautiful and there are plenty of places we’d like to explore, given more time. Really enjoyed watching the many birds feeding right beside the front door. Many Thanks for a peaceful, restful start to the New Year."

"During our stay at Swallow Cottage we got married at St Mary's Church, Bucknell (a beautiful church to visit). We found Swallow Cottage in a sparkling clean condition, it has every utensil you could ever need and was always warm and cosy. A home from home. We will definitely be returning. "Know Shropshire well, but Bucknell and surrounding locality has been fabulous. Ventured to Bridgenorth to visit Severn Valley Railway. An outstanding full day out which every member of our family enjoyed. Toys for the children to borrow was a lovely touch. Many thanks for a lovely stay."

"Like everyone else, we have greatly enjoyed our stay in this memorable cottage. We found Harry Tuffin's at Craven Arms a good place to buy necessities and also a treasure trove of treats for all the family. Aardvark books at Brampton Bryan provided hours of happy browsing. For eating out La Becasse at Ludlow was marvellous for a special treat and The Lion at Leintwardine provided high quality food at reasonable price. For an interesting day out, we recommend Presteigne: 'The Judges Lodgings' was fascinating and the Nature Reserve and Withy Beds are worthwhile for nature lovers. A really lovely holiday! "The perfect cottage to spend a week's holiday in celebration of Mum's 70th Birthday and first trip to England. Hedgehogs on the front porch were a notable addition to the charming barn restoration and tasteful décor, landscaping, etc. Simply beautiful!"
